I was at the dentist when the blackout hit. Fortunately, my dad had left work early for said dentist appointment, so he was not downtown when it hit. We proceeded to drive home, took like almost an hour and a half to go from eglington to sheppard along bayview, and then spent the rest of the day at home, in the dark. Other than eating up everything perishable in the fridge, it was business as usual by candle light.
