Sometimes I see stuff like this and think, "damn, I wish I had that much time." But maybe he's just a genius and can play a video game and beat it the first time he plays it.

Two recent headlines I've seen:

1) Company newsletter:
"Firefighters help burn victims" -- Are the firefighters the good guys or the bad guys?

2) This morning on CNN.com
"Head of U.S. Hostage Found" -- I'm sure the "U.S. Hostage" organization must be happy their leader has been discovered.

And in other news, on the 35th anniversary of Apollo 11, the (Republican controlled) House drafted up NASA's budget for next year, which will be less than the budget this year, and $1 billion short of Bushie's request of $1B more for his "visionary plan." This pretty much means Bush was all talk (but you knew that all along). The sad thing is that the general public probably still believes Bush really cares about sending people to Mars in his vehicle to explore the crew all while reducing government income and mass spending in Iraq.

I had a pretty bizarre dream last night. It's game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals, third period and the Leafs are playing the LA Kings. Late in the third, it's a tie game, when Wayne Gretzky gets ejected from the game for a misconduct penalty, and suddenly, it looks like Toronto is on the verge of its first Stanley Cup in god knows how long. I'm watching the game in a subway station, and trains are whizzing by with Leafs signs everywhere. The whole city is keyed up in anticipation for the moment of delerious joy. Late in the third, someone on the Leafs gets a scoring chance, maybe Gary Roberts, but Kelly Hrudey (yes, that guy) stands on his head and makes a sickening toe save in traffic while flopped over in the crease. Still, the game's not over yet, there's still time and the Leafs only need one goal to win it....

and then I woke up.
