Here's a question that I'm throwing out there. Hopefully, somebody can shed some light on this. Why is it, that in recent years, at the universitylevel, there is a growing gender imbalance, with more and more women educated than men? I was reading a column by a sportscaster, who suggests that part of the reason is that males are encouraged to play sports, while women are encourgaed to study. This seems a bit of a crock of crap to me, as if girls aren't encouraged to do anything else, but I'm not sure. Any thoughts?
