Chris, here is a pretty good article about the retirement of one of Tennis' greats, and no, it's not Pete Sampras. I have to admit, in recent years, I've ragged on Michael Chang for not retiring, for losing too much, etc. but this article took me back to a past time, a past time when I climbed out of bed at 8am to watch the French Open final against Edberg, when I'd scan the draws of all the major tournaments to see where Chang was placed, to a US Open final against Sampras in 1996 where a netcord on set point was the only thing that prevented him unseating the eventual champ. I'm sure other Asians will make it big in tennis, and sports soon (and I'm not talking about Tiger) and good luck to them all, but he will always be the first athlete I saw on TV who I was like, "damn, that guy looks like us!"
