Bonjour. I am currently in Nice, southern france. Leaving tomorrow morning to go to switzerland. Nice is not a nice place, pardon the pun. there's dog crap everywhere, the beach is too pebbly, and there are people here who have gotten way too much sun in their lifetimes and have skin that is way too bronze colour to be healthy. however, did head up to monaco/monte carlo yetserday. now that's where it's at. its really pretty there, not to mention ridiculously expensive.

About ten more days left in Europe. Frankly, I am ready to head home. Travelling through hotels/hostels/restaurants/cafes/tourist traps/trains/planes gets tiresome after a while. what I wouldn't give to get up and have a nice glass of chilled orange juice and flip through an english newspaper at a lesiurely pace.
